    The ֱ Alumni Association (VUAA) recently announced the election of four new members to its Board of Directors: Rev. Joseph D. Calderone, OSA, ’71 CLAS, ’73 MA, who will also serve as Board Chaplain; Sandy Dauphinais Carlson ’96 VSB; Erica D. Howard ’21 CPS; and Matt O’Malley ’04 CLAS, ’07 MBA.

  • ֱ Engineers Secure Major Research Funding from New Millennium, a Steel Dynamics Company

    ֱ professors of Civil and Environmental Engineering David Dinehart, PhD; Shawn P. Gross, PhD; and Joseph Robert Yost, PhD, PE, have been awarded a five-year, $2 million grant from New Millennium, a Steel Dynamics company, for an extensive research program focused on the design and performance of structural steel components used in commercial buildings.

  • 18 ֱns Win Fulbright U.S. Student Grants for 2024-25

    The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board have announced the Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards for 2024-25, with 18 ֱ students and alumni receiving the competitive grant. In addition to the 18 award recipients, six ֱns were selected as alternates and 10 earned recognition as semi-finalists.
